Team Rainbows Team Letter - Spring 2.pdf
27-31.3.23 It was a very busy week celebrating Easter. We took part in two Easter egg hunts, dressed up in spring colours and Andrei made an Easter Bonnet too!!
Our first Easter egg hunt was in the rain!
And then we did an Easter Egg hunt with real chocolate eggs. Thank you Springy, our very own Easter Bunny!
We helped decorate Mrs Howell an Easter cake to say Good Luck in Year 2! It was yummuy!
23.3.23 We did it again! This time we acted our Goldilocks and the Three Bears!
20.3.23 As part of our Topic we were very lucky to have Mr Straw visit us and talk to us about his job and how he helps people. We had a great time learning about all of the equipment he needs and we got to sit in his van too!
16.3.23 We wanted to raise some money for RED NOSE DAY so we had a go at baking some cakes to sell at our cake sale on Friday with Mrs Howell. It was great fun but also very messy! THANK YOU to everyone who came and bought one!
10.3.23 Nursery joined Reception for their very first Poetry Day and after reading Laura Mucha's poem Words that Make Me Smile, we went out and came up with our words to describe the snow. Mrs Straw then performed our poem for us too which was amazing!

9.3.23 The snow finally came so Reception and Nursery joined together and we all braved the cold to explore outside. Mr Bow challenged us to see if we could catch a snowflake which was harder than we thought!

3.3.23 World book Day! On Thursday we enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters. We did crafts in the hall with our adults and read lots of different fairy tales.
24.2.23 Flipping pancakes and launching our new topic! We began our week by celebrating Pancake Day and it was delicious!! We flipped pancakes in a frying pan and ate them all up, yum yum yum. There was a grand finale to our week with the launch of our new topic 'How does that building stay up?' Our canopy was full of construction site role play and small world activities. What a fun week!
